Barcelona (España), 12 de Diciembre, 2010…// La organización de la feria “Magic Internacional” –que clausura esta noche sus puertas tras 3 días de lleno casi absoluto en Fira Barcelona- calcula que la afluencia de público ha crecido alrededor  de un 5% en esta 26ª edición del certamen, dedicado a las terapias alternativas, la nueva  espiritualidad y las paraciencias.

“Es una evolución natural”, comenta Rosana Lara, maestra espiritual y patrocinadora del evento. “El interés por lo espiritual siempre crece en tiempos difíciles como estos. La gente necesita algo en qué creer y en qué apoyarse y, en efecto, la mayoría de las consultas han girado alrededor de la economía y el empleo.”

Las nuevas tecnologías, por su lado, están dando apoyo a este sector, que en España, uno de los mercados más importantes del mundo en este tipo de actividad, factura a nivel global unos 2.800 millones de euros al año y da trabajo a unas 100.000 personas en 3.000 empresas. José Luis Diaz, director general de Mediageneris y ponente, constata que “el tarot telefónico, por ejemplo, mueve en España más de 2.000 millones de euros al año”. Augura, también, que el negocio –en el que participan las grandes cadenas nacionales como La Sexta, Antena 3, Cuatro, Nova, FDF, Veo además de muchos otros medios- evolucionará gracias a “la tecnología de videoconsulta on-line y las plataformas de consultores esotéricos on-line como Wengo  o Astrolineas.com”.
